Mushkins

Yay! Little bipsie boops is getting bigger! For anyone (like me) who can’t interpret the ultrasound from our brand new niece or nephew, I’ve added labels. The little one is looking good – as good as a blob can look, I think and we can’t wait to meet him or her in May when he or she flies over with mommy and daddy. At that point, Bonnie will probably be wishing she’d never come to Germany, because I’ll be encouraging pumpkie pots to do somersaults and roundhouse kicks and the like. And I think this ultrasound was done at about 20 weeks, in case that means anything to anyone.

Wow, you have many more names for the baby than anyone else I know! Gotta love an ultrasound that you can actually make out what the shapes are!

if this baby is a boy, i’m not sure how it would feel about being called bipsie boops or pumpkie pots. i must say, however, that i’m kind of fond of the names myself. after all, they’re fun & catchy. as for Jer & I, we’ll probably just stick to “Baby” for now & leave the creative nicknames to Aunt Never-Dropped-on-my-Face….Jer took over the entry for a moment. i’m sure you could tell. as far as the somersaults, i’ve already been feeling those, but can we wait on the roundhouse kicks? something about that happening inside my warm, round little belly doesn’t sound like much fun. you can even teach the technique as soon as it’s born. please “have mercy” (a la jesse godsopolas from the “full house” era-must be spoken with a whiny tone while doing the elvis lip).

Thank you so much for sharing the progress of “baby” Drowne!
We look forward to meeting him/her in person.

Here’s wishing you fun times when you reunite in a few weeks!
