Last year we went to the yearly Flammende Sterne near our house and I wrote a blog entry about it. We went again last night, with the fabulous Benni and Annka. Actually, we ruined Benni’s surprise for Annka. He planned to take her and then we called while he wasn’t home, asking if they’d want to go. Oops. Last year we went when the gates opened, and it rained the whole day and there wasn’t really enough to look at for so many hours. This year, the weather was perfect (finally!) and we went much later – with just enough time to eat a slice of pizza and some mini-donuts and take a tour around the grounds – so we didn’t have to wait forever for the firework show to start.
